Spinning?
Everything from drop spindles to spinning wheels and raw fleece to roving.
Spinning your own yarn provides a satisfaction that's hard to beat as bunches of loose fiber are almost magically formed into a long strand of interesting yarn. We have drop spindles and Ashford and Louet spinning wheels. You can learn to spin wool or even the fur from your dog or rabbit, and then wind the yarn into skeins with a swift or into balls with a ball winder. After you've produced enough yarn for a project, I can help you learn to weave or knit so you can produce a nice finished piece to show off the results of your efforts.
